Work-Back Obligation
All bursary recipients are required to work for Shoprite after graduation.

Accounting (CA Stream – SAICA)
- South African citizen
- Not older than 27 years
- Completed Matric
- Studying towards BCom Accounting or BAcc (CA stream)
- Entering 2nd, 3rd, 4th year, or PGDA / CTA
- Minimum 65% overall average
- Minimum 65% in Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation
- Studying at a recognised South African tertiary institution
Biological and Agricultural Sciences
- South African citizen
- Not older than 27 years
- Completed Matric
- Studying Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, or Agriculture with Crop/Plant Production focus
- Entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year
- Minimum 60% overall average
- Studying at a recognised South African tertiary institution
Retail Business Management
- South African citizen
- Not older than 27 years
- Completed Matric
- Studying towards a Diploma in Retail Business Management
- Entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year (Advanced Diploma)
- Minimum 60% overall average
Supply Chain & Logistics
- South African citizen
- Not older than 27 years
- Completed Matric
- Studying BCom Logistics / Supply Chain Management / BSc Operational Research or Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
